Link Incidents/Complaints

The Link Incidents/Complaints screen enables users to search for incidents and complaints and associate them with other incidents and complaints. This screen includes a tab for incidents and a separate tab for complaints. Users can search and select the desired incidents or complaints and click [SAVE] or [SAVE & CONTINUE] to link them to the current incident or complaint.


Note:

  • Some of the fields listed below are specific to linking complaints and will not appear when users are linking incidents and vice versa.
  • For complaints, the individual name will populate in different ways based on whether or not the complainant was an individual or a provider.
    • If the complainant is an individual the first and last name search will look at the individual's name.
    • If the complainant is a provider, the first and last name search will look at the provider staff person's name.


Field Name

Field Description

ID

Enter the incident/complaint ID number.

Status

Select the incident/complaint status from the drop-down list.

Discovery From Date

Select the beginning date for the discovery date range for the search.

Discovery To Date

Select the ending date for the discovery date range for the search.

Occurrence From Date

Select the beginning date for the occurrence date range for the search.

Occurrence To Date

Select the ending date for the occurrence date range for the search.

Reported From Date

Select the beginning date for the reported from date range for the search.

Reported To Date

Select the ending date for the reported to date range for the search.

Individual Last Name

Enter the individual last name associated with the incident/complaint to search by name.  At least 2 characters of the last name must be entered.  

Individual First Name

Enter the individual first name associated with the incident/complaint to search by name.

County

Select the residential county(ies) associated with the incident/complaint.

Waiver/Program

Select the Waiver(s)/Program(s) associated with the incident/complaint.

[CLEAR]

Click this button to clear the search fields and re-enter the search criteria.

[SEARCH]

 

Click this button to execute the search.

 

[SAVE]

 

Click this button to save the selected incident or complaint and link it to the original incident/ complaint.
